The London South Bank Students’ Union is run by students for students and is a philanthropic organization that is separate from the school. There are over 70 societies at the university.

Societies unite students who share common interests and pastimes. Over twenty sports clubs are available to students who are interested in sports. The sports clubs play other sports teams that are a part of the BUCS leagues across the nation. Students looking for part-time work or other amazing work placement opportunities can visit the Jobshop, a professional vacancy handling service.
